Regarding shipyard renovations, I am delighted to bring you updates of exciting new developments at Merrill-Stevens Shipyard…

 

The yard is fortunate to be busy serving both longstanding and newly contracted clients with a number of new vessels and challenging projects. At the same time, the on-going plans for expansion and modernization of yard facilities, newly hired staff and increased capabilities reflect our commitment to provide the finest complete large yacht yard service.

 

To that end, in response to the increased demand from larger yachts, we are taking immediate steps to complete a new South Yard vertical ship-lift, work sheds and berths, in addition to those previously planned for our North Yard, with a 3,000-ton lift.

 

We have been able to attract and continue to add some of the marine industry’s most respected and experienced craftsmen and lead machinists to our staff. Efficiency of the yard continues to grow on a daily basis.

 

Merrill-Stevens continues to refine and expand its Concierge Department to assist and service owners, captains and yacht crews visiting our yard. We invite any suggestions you might have.
